Homes built to the same handful of floor plans have the same handful of problems: a kitchen walled off from the living room, a builder-grade cabinet run that was never sized to the appliances, and ceilings tall enough to do something with. Once you have opened one of them up, you know what is behind the wall in the next one.

No. Schertz is inside our normal service area.
Yes. The cedar range hood on this page was built for a Schertz kitchen, along with the blue grey cabinetry and quartz counters around it. It was made on sawhorses in the shop and then installed.
San Antonio and the Hill Country sit on expansive clay. It swells when it rains and shrinks in drought, and our rainfall swings hard between the two. That movement is why doors stick, tile cracks, floors run out of level and gaps open at the trim. We measure and scribe to the house as it actually is rather than assuming it is square.
It genuinely does. Once we have opened one of a builder's plans we know how it is framed, where the services run and which wall is carrying load. That takes guesswork and contingency out of the quote.
Yes. Requirements differ between city limits and unincorporated county, and we confirm which applies to your address before work starts. Hayne holds City of San Antonio Residential Building Contractor License RBC-22-01411.
A full custom kitchen takes 2 to 4 weeks. A custom closet takes about a week. A primary suite bath runs 3 to 5 weeks.
We do not dress up the old one. We take it out and build a new one to the room, which on these floor plans usually means using the ceiling height that the builder ignored.
We take whole rooms rather than single fixtures. A custom shop build carries the same setup cost whether it is one cabinet or a kitchen full, so a one-item job serves you badly and we say so on the phone.
